What to check before you buy

The specs that matter most when choosing one, and what this product's values mean for you.

Screen size: 65″: Best watched from about 2–3.3 m away.
Panel type: Neo QLED: Thousands of tiny backlights: very bright with deep blacks, strong in a sunny room.
Resolution: 8K: Very little is filmed in 8K yet, so you mostly pay for the future.
Refresh rate: 165 Hz: Smoother football and fast games (PS5 and Xbox up to 120 fps).
HDR: HDR10+: Standard HDR; no Dolby Vision, which Netflix and Disney+ use for their best picture.
Energy class: G: Lower end of today’s EU scale: it costs more to run over the years.
